: Zion Chorus Each Month!

On the last Sunday of each month, we invite people from the pews to come up to the front of the church to sing a well-loved hymn (from the hymnal) to the congregation.

No rehearsals, no obligations, no choir robes necessary! It's a lot of fun and everyone is blessed by the experience!

We are currently compiling a list of everyone's favorite hymns so please let us know what yours are so they can be added to the list.

The simple truth is, if we had only a triangle and some sticks we would still come together and offer them before God. It's a mixture of voices that make beautiful music in God's ears. Come join us as we make a Joyful Noise Unto the Lord. Musical guests are always welcome to share their talents with us!

	USER-FRIENDLY SERVICES! Our worship services are easy to follow because they feature a multi-media format including easy-to-view presentations & lyrics on a large screen with a blend of traditional hymns & contemporary praise songs. We focus on messages that challenge everyone to live and grow in Christian love. Hymnals, Bibles & Bullletins are also available for those who wish to follow the service in a more traditional format. Children are invited to sit with their parents at each gathering. Nursery is now provided for families with young children who would like to worship with us at the Sunday 10:30 a.m. service. Please bring your child(ren) upstairs before service starts. Ask our greeters for details if you have any questions.

In an effort to keep Porchtown Church "small & personal" without bursting at the seams, we offer 2 Worship Services and a Sunday School each week. You are always encouraged to bring your Bibles and come as you are!

Our aim is to make our services comfortable & user-friendly for those who haven't been in church before. We welcome suggestions that will help us improve our efforts. We don't want anyone to feel out of place here.

WE WELCOME EVERYONE!

Our Saturday Night Services offer spirited informal worship with a lot of music, fellowship and sharing from 6 to 7 p.m. Come experience the church in the evening with the awesome sight of the cross softly bathed in colors through the stain glass windows. It is very powerful, serene, and comforting.

Our 9:15 a.m. Sunday School offers a family-oriented, interactive Bible study. Bring your Bibles - you will be learning where to find scriptures and how to apply them to your life in a relaxed and friendly setting where everyone shares and contributes.

Our 10:30 a.m. Worship Service offers a nice blend of traditional hymns along with upbeat praise songs and everything in between. In addition to printed bulletins, we project the entire service (including lyrics to songs, prayers, and other responses) on a large screen that help everyone follow along.

: At sunset, the Cross is lit & we'll leave the Porch Light on for you!

SATURDAY NIGHTS

We offer spirited Saturday night services 6-7 p.m. with praise & worship music; warm friendly fellowship; and a challenging message. If work, family obligations or the need to sleep in on Sunday mornings keep you from attending church, we invite you to come be filled with the Holy Spirit on Saturday night!

Surely the Presence of the Lord is in this place!

FAMILY SUNDAY SCHOOL

SUNDAY 9:15 a.m.

Our 9 a.m. Sunday School focuses on the entire family as everyone digs into the Word with our Bibles and pens! Come be fed by the Holy Spirit as a FAMILY!

Holy Communion Weekends

: Holy Communion is served the first weekend of each month.

When we come to our Lord's table, we are coming to be fed

Spiritually.

Just as bread and juice are valuable and energizing to eat and drink, so the Communion bread and cup are valuable and energizing to us spiritually.

Come join hands with our brothers and sisters around the world, and be fed!

Are you hungry?

We offer Communion the first Saturday/Sunday of the month. Everyone from children to adults are invited to our table.

SOUPER WEEKENDS!

In addition to celebrating Holy Communion the first Saturday and Sunday of each month, we encourage everyone to bring one non-perishable item for our Food Pantry to help keep it stocked and ready for families in need in our community. Clean and gently-used clothing is also accepted for our Clothes Closet.
