Our Family Night Bible Studies will run Jan. 13 thru March 10, 2010. Each Wednesday evening starts at 5:30-6:30 p.m. with delicious suppers ($3 per person or $10 per family) followed by age-appropriate Bible studies for the entire family. Come be fed physically and spiritually with your friends. 

Adults will be studying "Experiencing God"

The Men will be following "Dare to Be Uncommon" with Coach Tony Dungy on DVD as led by Steve Oz and Bob Ernst.

Teens will study "Experiencing God" with Joe Pantelione.

Children will learn fun Bible lessons with the Schrefflers in the trailer.

Let us know if you need a nursery for babies and toddlers.

Everyone is invited! You don't need to be a member to participate!

FAMILY SKATE NIGHTS!

Are you looking for something fun to do with your family or a safe place for your children to have some fun with their friends? Porchtown Church sponsors adult-supervised Family Skate Nights one Tuesday night each month at the Franklinville Skate Center on Delsea Drive (Route 47) in Franklinville, NJ. Skate times are 6:30-8:30 p.m. on the dates below. Admission is $5 per person plus $1 skate rental. Church groups, scouts and other organizations are invited to join the fun! If your group would like to be a part of this fun activity, please call Pastor Heidi at (609) 220-8529.

Hey everyone, due to the unbelievable snowfall, the Pizza and Praise Pre-Superbowl Jam will have to be canceled. Please stay safe and warm and enjoy the extra time with your family and friends. All Porchtown Church services for tonight and tomorrow (Feb. 6-7) are officially cancelled. We hope to see you Tuesday night from 7-9 p.m. for open prayer time and Wednesday night at 5:30 p.m. for a delicious BBQ Pork dinner and 6:45 p.m. for Bible Study.
The Trustees meeting has been rescheduled for Feb. 14 after the 10 a.m. service.
Please stay safe and warm. And pray for all of the emergency people who have to travel and work in the storm so that others can stay safe and warm!

We are so sorry our District Superintendent, Rev. Richard Nichols, won't be leading us in Worship Service this week due to the weather!

ASH WEDNESDAY DINNER & SERVICE: Come celebrate Ash Wednesday with us starting at 5:30 p.m. with a delicious All-You-Can-Eat Fish Fry dinner complete with Macaroni & Cheese, Stewed Tomotoes and Desserts in the Social Hall. Special price for this dinner is $8 per person. Members are welcome to bring a dessert to share. Ash Wednesday Service, focused on Nicodemus"Born of the Spirit," will begin at 7 p.m. in the church sanctuary. We hope to see everyone there as we prepare our hearts for Lent and the Easter Season.

8 WEEK BOWLING LEAGUE FORMING:  Sunday Feb. 21 @ 6 pm is a FREE night of bowling for family and friends of Porchtown who are17 and older at Brunswick Lanes in Turnersville NJ.  The league will run 7 weeks from Feb. 28 thru April 18 (not including Easter.)  There is a flyer in the Narthex, or for more information contact Pastor Heidi @ hbeb(at)aol.com or 609/220-8529.

CHURCH CAMPING TRIP: Now is the time to reserve your cabin or campsite for our church camping trip  from 4 p.m. Thursday July 29 through Sunday morning August 1 at Jellystone Park in Lancaster County, PA. WOMEN'S SPRING RETREAT: Calling All Women! Our Annual Women's Retreat will be held May 21-23 at the Luther Inn in Wildwood. The cost is only $85 per person - which includes dinners and breakfasts, lodging and all the fun you can possibly have. This year's topic is "Can You Hear Me Now?" - do you receive God's messages clearly? Set aside the date now and watch for flyers in the Narthex.
